Upgrade your 12mm frameless glass pool fencing or low-level balustrade with our Slimline Square Top Rail System — 25mm wide x 21mm high — designed to suit all 12mm glass balustrade panels and 12mm pool glass panels.

Note: Until the 2023 changes to Australian balustrading laws, this was the standard top rail used on most frameless glass balustrade installations. 

Installation Applications & Limitations

From 1 May 2023, this 12mm glass rail system is only suitable for:

• Low-level decks (drop under 1 metre)
• Verandas (drop under 1 metre)
• Balconies under 1 metre high

Not suitable for:

• Any installation over 1 metre in height
• Any balustrade application that must comply with AS1288:2021 for higher drops

These restrictions follow reliable testing from one of Australia’s largest glass suppliers, in line with the latest Australian glass balustrading regulations.
