How Fast Is Fence Guru Delivery?
Most orders are delivered in 3–7 business days, but can occasionally be as quick as 2 business days or sometimes take as long as 10; and during the end-of-year peak, timeframes extend (see below). Either way, you won't be left guessing — your order is scheduled onto the next available delivery run in your area, and we will confirm your exact delivery date within 1–3 days of ordering. If the confirmed date doesn't suit, you can switch to warehouse pickup instead — we'll refund your delivery fee in full (or less the pallet cost, if you'd like your order palletised for collection).
How Should You Plan a Fencing Project Between September and December in Australia?
Order early — that's the single best thing you can do. From September to December, the fencing industry is at its busiest, and timeframes across the board tend to blow out. At Fence Guru, we'd rather be upfront about this than leave you guessing: during these months, direct delivery and packing for transport can occasionally extend to 15+ business days. It's an industry-wide reality, not just ours, so most suppliers carry a similar peak-season timing exception. Plan ahead and place your order in good time, and your fencing will be ready when you are.
Full-Range vs Core-Range Warehouses
We supply professional-grade fencing from 24 Click & Collect warehouses Australia-wide. To make collection as convenient as possible, our warehouses fall into two types: Full-Range Warehouses, which carry most of our range, and Core-Range Warehouses, which stock a limited range of specific lines. The location you collect from depends on the products you order and stock availability at the time — and your confirmation email will always tell you exactly where to go.
Full-Range Warehouses
Full-Range Warehouses stock most of our products — the large majority of what we sell is available to collect from these locations.
The only exceptions are a small number of specialist lines, mainly the full Designer Colours range for aluminium flat-top pool fencing and the 50x10mm slat-fence panels & gates within that category. These are stocked at Core-Range Warehouses instead (see below).
Colour note: for standard flat-top aluminium pool fencing, full-range warehouses stock Satin Black, Monument and Pearl White, whereas the full Designer Colours range is only stocked at Core-Range Warehouses.
Core-Range Warehouses
Core-Range Warehouses stock a limited range of Fence Guru products — only the lines from these categories:
- Glass pool fence panels & gates & 'Sydney Style' spigots (other designer options can be packed & sent easily)
- Aluminium pool fencing – Designer Colours (incl. Slat-Fence Panels & Gates)
- Aluminium slats, and the standard Slat Side Frame & Slat Gate Side Frame Kit
- 900 High Black Garden Fencing (excluding Gate-Makers) — view range
- PVC 1.8m Privacy (east coast only for core-range warehouses)
- PVC 1.2m Double-Rail Picket (east coast only for core-range warehouses)
- White Aluminium Picket Fencing (east coast only — coming soon online; ask us in the meantime)
PVC Post & Rail: Not stocked at most core-range warehouses, but it can be transferred in 3–6 business days, or collected immediately from most full-range warehouses.

Option 1 — Click & Collect: Warehouse Pickup Across Australia
We use 24 fencing and gate supply warehouses across Australia. If you intend to pick up your order, please understand our process:
- Order received — we receive your order and check it over for anything missing or out of place.
- Order processed — we send your order to the relevant warehouse to confirm availability.
- Order approved — we double-check and approve the warehouse order.
- Order confirmed — within 1 to 3 business days we email you the warehouse address and a warehouse order number to quote to the office when you arrive.
- Order collected — please allow plenty of time (15 minutes to 1.5 hours). Orders are picked at the time of collection rather than pre-packed (unless you have paid for packing). Collection time depends on how many customers are waiting.
Order processing: Please allow 1 to 3 business days (Mon–Fri) for us to process your order and email your Pick-Up or Delivery Confirmation. (Most orders are confirmed the same or next day, even without an ASAP request — we'll always let you know as soon as yours is ready.)
Need an ASAP pick-up? Please advise us in your order notes at checkout, then also text 0412 736 242 with the message: "ASAP pick-up please for order number ___", along with your ideal pick-up day and time. We'll prioritise your order and send your pick-up details as soon as we can.

Option 2 — Direct Delivery Zones
In areas served by a local supply warehouse with delivery trucks, we offer direct delivery of most orders. Delivery costs between $159 and $229 for most orders.
How direct delivery scheduling works: Delivery times vary with how many orders are already booked. As each new order comes in, it's scheduled for the next available delivery slot in your area, and orders are processed in the order they're received. This is why we give a range rather than a fixed date. When we confirm your order (within 1–3 days via email or text), we'll also confirm your delivery date.
Our Direct Delivery Zones cover most of the greater regions of the following locations:
- Sunshine Coast — including Noosa and Caboolture (core-range products can also be delivered north to Nambour, Cooroy, Gympie & Glenwood, and west to Maleny & Kilcoy)
- Brisbane
- Toowoomba — (core-range products can be delivered west to Dalby, south to Warwick, and north to Crows Nest)
- Ipswich
- Gold Coast — including Tweed Heads, and west to Boonah
- Northern Rivers (NSW) — including Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ballina and Lismore (core-range to Casino)
- Newcastle (Greater Area)
- Central Coast
- Sydney (Greater Area)
- Wollongong
- Melbourne (Greater Area)
- Geelong
- Adelaide (Greater Area)
- Perth (Greater Area)
Note: Delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days for most of the year.
Option 3 — Outside Our Direct Delivery Zone (Remote & Regional Australia)
Can You Get Glass, Aluminium, PVC & Steel Fencing Supplies for Home, Pool & Commercial Projects Delivered to Remote & Regional Areas Outside the Normal Delivery Zones?
Yes — Fence Guru supplies and freights professional-grade fencing products and AS-compliant pool fencing (including Frameless Glass Pool Fencing) to remote and regional locations in every state and territory of Australia — including Tasmania, even when you're well outside our standard direct delivery zones. We professionally pack and palletise your order for long-distance transport and send it to a freight depot near you for collection — to Toll and Toll-partner depots Australia-wide.
On a reasonable-sized order, this can still save you a substantial amount compared with buying locally — and you're guaranteed a professional-quality, AS-compliant product.
Follow these 3 steps to get a remote or regional fencing delivery quote — fast and easy:
- Add your products using the grey "ADD TO QUOTE" button. On every product page you'll find the grey ADD TO QUOTE | ASK ? | SHIPPING QUOTE button right next to the orange ADD TO CART button (shown below). Add everything you need. (Not sure of every part? Just add the main product type — we'll help you complete the list.)

- Add your notes. In the quote notes, write that you need a shipping quote and include your exact delivery address — plus the nearest main town or centre to you (ideally somewhere a major freight depot is likely to be).
- Submit your quote. We'll work out a custom pack-and-freight price for your order and nearest depot, and email it back to you. If you want to go ahead, simply click the "PLACE ORDER — Load Items Into Shopping Cart" button.
Because every freight job is different — size, weight, distance and depot all matter — we quote each one individually rather than charging a flat rate. That way you only pay what your order actually costs to send.
Note: If you don't have a forklift on site, large or bulky orders are normally quoted to your nearest freight depot for collection. Orders packed for transport must be collected within 2 business days after we confirm they're packed and ready.
Good to Know
- All listed prices include GST.
- We don't charge credit card fees (many fencing stores charge 1% to 1.5%).
- Don't expect pack-and-send freight to be cheap — but for any reasonable job-lot quantity of fencing, you'll normally save a decent amount overall, and local products (if available) are rarely the same professional-grade quality. (Fence Guru only supplies fencing products from Australia's biggest national manufacturers.)
