THIS ALLOWS YOU TO CREATE A 'BOLT DOWN' GATE POST! - PAIR this BASE PLATED Post insert with a Standard End Post to create a 'Bolt Down' (to concrete or timber etc) Heavy Duty Gate Post.
1 x Concealed Heavy Duty Base Plate for Gate Posts - 1150mm long- Posts slot over base plate
Details:
- Internal fitting - suits 1 way gate posts
- Enables base plate fitting of 1 way post for use as a hinge and/or latch post
- 6mm thick base plate with 2mm thick vertical walls
- 1150mm high vertical walls provide post rigidity also, sturdy substrate for fixing of hinges and/or latch
- Cold galvanised steel provides strong corrosion resistance
- 4 x fixing holes in base plate
- PVC posts sleeve over base plate and fix to internal base plate with tek screws. Use a 2 part domical cover to hide screw fixings
- Base plate system not suitable for use where wind load considerations required
