A complete frameless balustrade system for balconies and decks up to 5m above ground.
Includes 15mm toughened glass panels, slimline top rails, spigots, and all required hardware.

• Correct installation in accordance with manufacturer instructions and local regulations
Final compliance is always the responsibility of the installer and may require structural certification by a qualified engineer or certifier.

Important Note: Site-Specific Engineering Required

Recent changes to Australian building codes mean that every glass balustrade installation must now be engineered for its specific site and installation method. AS1288:2021 and AS1170 require the correct combination of glass thickness, hardware, and fixing details—and formal certification by a qualified engineer or building certifier.
It is no longer possible to install glass balustrades using generic, off-the-shelf materials alone.

What You Must Do Before Purchasing

1. Consult a local building certifier or structural engineer with your intended balustrade design.
2. Confirm the correct glass type, thickness, hardware, and fixing system for your specific site and project.
3. Obtain (or arrange to obtain) a compliance certificate or engineering sign-off before proceeding with your order.

This is now the industry standard—and ensures your balustrade will be safe, compliant, and approved for use.

About Our Deluxe Glass Balustrade System

Fence Guru supplies only the Deluxe Fully Frameless Balustrade System, for which a full engineered balustrade design is available.

Depending on your location and certification requirements, a standard balustrade design document may be sufficient, or site-specific certification may be required (e.g. Form 15 for QLD, Reg 126 for VIC, etc.).

Final responsibility for compliance rests with the installer.
If certification is not obtained, building approval may be refused, and liability may arise in the event of an accident.
If you’re a DIY installer, factor in the time and potential cost of engineering, and consult your local building certifier early to confirm the documentation and approvals required for your site.
